Business idea for car windshields

Is this a product extension strategy: "Make all car windshields out of photochromic glass that darkens to a moderate sunglass tint when exposed to sunlight. This innovation would improve driver comfort and safety, especially when traveling into the blinding glare of a rising or setting sun."
In China and some countries many traffic accidents happen at night. Beacuse when people driving at night the lights which are from the cars coming in opposite way make driver can't see. So I think this product can solve this problem and improve driver comfort and safety. But is it effect the sight of drivers ? If this product can make sure that it not effect the sight of drivers, it will be a nice and useful product.
